About Us Above All Pests

Michael worked in the pest control industry for many years prior to opening his own company. He worked several years at two franchise companies, Orkin & Terminix. He then switched and worked a few more years at a smaller family owned company, Abell Pest Control. During these years he learned alot about the industry. He mastered the skill of finding the source of several pest infestations and he learned how to properly treat them. More importantly, during these years he also learned what not to do. In 2008 Michael decided to open his own company, Above All Termite & Pest Control.

To protect his integrity as an honest man, Michael left the pest control industry for a year prior to opening his own company. "The pest control industry non-compete agreements are used to prevent former employees from stealing clients, using confidential information, or starting a competing business in the same area" He appreciated the several years of knowledge he gained from working for these companies and did not want to start a company unethically. Therefore he waited the full year while working at Smart Carpet as a salesman. After the year, he bought himself a trailer & a truck and started his own company. It was scary to make this leap of faith because Michael & Tracey were raising 7 children at this time. Tracey continued to work full time as a saleswoman for Taylor Products while Michael built the business. Often on weekends, they would take the children to different neighborhoods to solicit business by leaving flyers door to door. Michael & Tracey both had faith that they would grow this company by staying true to themselves and operating the company with a simple concept' "Treat each & every customer as if they were your first customer, always offer fair pricing, quality treatments and excellent customer service." To never leave a customer unhappy, always rectify complaints and/or concerns. Continue to build the backbone of the company with honesty & integrity. After around 5 years of Michael working solo, Tracey quit her job and joined the company. Michael & Tracey have been working side by side ever since.

Above All Termite & Pest Control has continued to grow yearly for almost 17 years. Customer referrals and earning amazing customer reviews has helped grow the company from a one man operation to having 9 amazing employees!

Michael & Tracey proudly consider themselves a military family.

Michael served in the Army. They have two boys who served as Marines and one boy who is currently serving in the Navy. They are equally proud of each of their children. One of their sons followed in their footsteps of owning a successful power washing business called East Coast Home Services. Their 3 daughters are amazing mothers, and keep full time jobs. They adore their 3 son inlaws and their 4 daughter inlaws! Michael & Tracey are blessed with 10 grandchildren and this number continues to grow.
