Michael spent many years working in the pest control industry before starting his own company. He gained experience at franchise companies like Orkin & Terminix, and later at a smaller family-owned company called Abell Pest Control. During this time, he honed his skills in identifying and treating pest infestations, learning valuable lessons along the way.
Through years of experience, Michael became adept at pinpointing the origins of various pest infestations and effectively treating them. Equally significant, he gleaned valuable insights on what pitfalls to avoid, such as what NOT to do.
In 2008, Michael decided to launch his own company, Above All Termite & Pest Control. To maintain his integrity, he took a year off from the industry to honor non-compete agreements and ensure he started his business ethically. During this time, he worked as a salesman at Smart Carpet. Once the year passed, he invested in a trailer and truck to kickstart his venture.
Starting the business was daunting, especially with a family of seven to support. Tracey, Michael's wife, continued working full-time as a saleswoman for Taylor Products while he built the business. They dedicated weekends to distributing flyers in neighborhoods to drum up business. Their guiding principle was simple: prioritize customer satisfaction, fair pricing, and quality service.

Always ensure customer satisfaction by promptly addressing any complaints or concerns. Uphold the core values of honesty and integrity to strengthen the foundation of the company.
After five years of solo effort, Tracey joined the company full-time. Together, they've nurtured Above All Termite & Pest Control into a thriving enterprise with a team of nine employees for almost 17 years. Their commitment to honesty, integrity, and exceptional service has fueled their growth, earning them a loyal customer base.
Michael & Tracey love their company and appreciate each & every customer. Beyond their business, Michael and Tracey take pride in their military family. Michael served in the Army, while their sons have served or are serving in the Marines and Navy. They take equal pride in each of their children. One son has embarked on a successful entrepreneurial journey, mirroring their path by owning East Coast Home Services, a thriving power washing business. Their three daughters are not only dedicated mothers but also maintain full-time jobs. They cherish their children and 10 grandchildren, who continue to bring joy to their lives.
